Graeme is based at the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research in Melbourne, which is the primary biodiversity research centre for the Victorian Government.  During his career he has worked on a number of different Australian mammal species, but most notably on Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo in North Queensland.  Most of his work during his career has focused on issues of habitat quality, and his current work is centred around developing landscape-scale models of vegetation condition.
