The 57th Scientific Meeting of the Australian Mammal Society, a joint meeting with the American Society of Mammalogists.

24–29 June 2011 Registration and Abstract Submission can now be carried out, through links from the conference website. The abstract submission deadline is 31st March, while registration runs until 30th April and late registration to 9th June. Members of AMS are organising four themed sessions to be held during the conference, as follows: Predator interactions on both sides of the Pacific Convenor: Euan Ritchie, Deakin University Ecology of marsupial and eutherian herbivores Convenor: Graeme Coulson, University of Melbourne Ecophysiology of monotremes and marsupials Convenors: Phil Withers, University of Western Australia and Terry Dawson, University of New South Wales Small mammal population decline; are patterns of change global or parochial? Convenors: Alex Kutt and Iain Gordon, CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems The first and last of these have a full list of speakers but the sessions run by Graeme Coulson and by Phil Withers and Terry Dawson have slots available. If you think your paper fits into either “Ecology of marsupial and eutherian herbivores” or “Ecophysiology of monotremes and marsupials”, approach the conveners or just check the relevant box as you submit your abstract online. We will post more details on the AMS aspects of the conference, including the AGM agenda, on this page. If you are not able to attend the conference but would like some input to the AGM, a proxy form is available on this site at the end of the AMS Constitution.
